Fleet Space reveals new worldwide headquarters and cutting-edge space technology manufacturing facility

Date:

Fleet Space Technologies has recently announced the construction of its new global headquarters and hyper factory for next-gen space and climate technologies at the Adelaide Airport. This state-of-the-art facility is set to accelerate the production of Fleet Space’s pioneering space technologies and scale its end-to-end exploration platform, ExoSphere.

The new global headquarters, known as ‘GHQ,’ will feature advanced manufacturing and data center technologies, allowing for the production capacity of thousands of Fleet Space’s patented smart sensors and hundreds of satellites annually. This expansion will also create hundreds of new jobs in South Australia, further boosting the local economy.

According to Co-Founder & CEO, Flavia Tata Nardini, this development marks a significant leap into the future for Fleet Space and Australian innovation. The company’s mission to build revolutionary frontier technologies that address the challenges of climate change and space exploration is now being realized from the heart of South Australia. What started as a bold vision ten years ago has grown into a global force transforming the future of exploration on Earth and beyond.

The new GHQ is optimized to drive innovation by fusing the latest advances in space, climate, and AI technologies. It represents a hybrid manufacturing model for frontier technologies needed to achieve decarbonization and net-zero targets. Fleet Space’s GHQ will house research and development labs, 3D printing technologies, data center infrastructure, and central operations for the company’s satellite network and mineral exploration platform, ExoSphere.

Used by over 40 leading exploration companies across five continents, ExoSphere will be further enhanced by GHQ, enabling Fleet Space’s partnerships with companies like Koloma to accelerate exploration for energy transition minerals. The acquisition of HiSeis, the world’s leading provider of active seismic exploration technology, reinforces Fleet Space’s mission to unite breakthrough technologies for faster, more sustainable mineral discovery.

The new facility will enable Fleet Space to accelerate the vertical integration of its business, with supply chain, design, manufacturing, operations, engineering, and R&D unified within a purpose-built, high-tech environment. This will allow the company’s team of engineers, scientists, and innovators to collaborate and take their global impact in space and mineral discovery to new heights.

In 2026, Fleet Space’s lunar exploration technology, SPIDER, will be deployed on the Moon as part of Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost Mission 2. This marks the first Australian-borne technology to be used on the lunar surface, showcasing Fleet Space’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of exploration. The company’s recent funding round and partnerships with global leaders further solidify its position as a key player in the space industry.

Overall, Fleet Space’s new headquarters at the Adelaide Airport not only bolsters South Australia as the national center of Australia’s space industry but also paves the way for a more sustainable future on Earth. Through innovation, collaboration, and cutting-edge technologies, Fleet Space is leading the charge towards a cleaner, more efficient exploration of new worlds.
