Marti Murray Joins Charles River Associates as Senior Consultant in Finance Practice
Charles River Associates (CRA), a renowned management consulting firm based in Boston, has announced the addition of Marti Murray to its finance practice in New York. Murray, a seasoned professional with over 40 years of experience in the industry, will serve as a senior consultant providing consulting and testifying expert services on matters related to corporate financial litigation.
Murray’s impressive background includes expertise in bankruptcy and restructuring advisory, corporate credit, distressed debt, investment advisory, and commercial and SEC-related litigation support. She also has extensive knowledge of industry custom and practice for investment advisers, hedge funds, and private equity.
Currently leading her boutique consultancy, Murray Analytics, which offers financial advisory and valuation services, Murray has previously held key positions at top consulting firms such as Bates White Economic Consulting and The Brattle Group. She also founded and led Murray Capital Management, a distressed debt manager, before selling the firm to Babson Capital Management in 2008.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Murray has also shared her knowledge as an adjunct professor at NYU Stern School of Business, teaching courses in bankruptcy, distressed debt investing, and equity analysis and valuation. With an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, Murray is a certified fraud examiner and certified valuation analyst.
