Date:

Luxury British fragrance house Penhaligon’s (Puig) is making waves in the Asia Pacific travel retail market with the launch of three new airport stores in Malaysia, India, and Indonesia. These strategic partnerships with leading duty-free operators are set to elevate the brand’s presence in key locations and cater to the discerning tastes of international travellers.

In Malaysia, Penhaligon’s has teamed up with Eraman to unveil a stunning store at the Contact Pier Duty-Free Mall in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1. The brand has also made its mark in India by partnering with Delhi Duty Free to open a counter at Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport. Additionally, Penhaligon’s has expanded its reach to Indonesia through a collaboration with Jakarta Duty Free at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport.

Each of these new stores offers a carefully curated selection of Penhaligon’s most popular fragrances, including iconic scents like Halfeti, Luna, The Tragedy of Lord George, and The Coveted Duchess Rose. Alongside its core fragrance collection, Penhaligon’s is also showcasing bath and body products, fragrance discovery sets, and travel retail-exclusive formats designed specifically for travellers on the go.

Visitors to these new locations can indulge in a range of value-added services, including personalization options and complimentary gift wrapping, adding a touch of luxury to their shopping experience. This attention to detail reflects Penhaligon’s commitment to providing exceptional retail experiences that resonate with today’s dynamic consumers.

The expansion into these key markets aligns with Penhaligon’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in travel retail and forge long-term partnerships with key retailers in the region. Puig Executive Vice President Global Travel Retail, Kaatje Noens, expressed excitement about the brand’s growth, stating, “Penhaligon’s new stores reflect our passion for creating exceptional retail experiences that resonate with today’s dynamic consumers.”

Founded in 1870 by William Penhaligon, the brand has a rich heritage rooted in craftsmanship and storytelling, evolving from a small London perfumery into a globally recognized name in niche luxury fragrance. By investing in prime airport locations, Penhaligon’s aims to capture the growing demand for high-end fragrance in the Asia Pacific region and enhance its engagement with international travellers.

The openings of these new airport stores mark another milestone in Penhaligon’s ongoing growth strategy, solidifying its position as a leading luxury fragrance house in travel retail. With a commitment to quality, innovation, and customer experience, Penhaligon’s continues to set the standard for luxury fragrance offerings in the dynamic world of travel retail.
