The conference, held in Lima, Peru, from February 25 to 27, 2025, tackled the pressing theme of "Artificial Intelligence and Sexual Abuse: A New Challenge for Prevention."
Pope Francis, in his message dated January 13, expressed his solidarity with the participants, praying for divine support in their efforts to eradicate the scourge of sexual abuse from society. He highlighted the importance of the initiative being promoted at the conference, hoping it would yield fruitful outcomes in the fight against this pervasive issue.
“I pray to God to sustain all efforts aimed at eradicating this scourge from society and, in particular, to bless the initiative you are promoting and the fruits it is meant to bear.”
