Governor Namadi Appoints Aisha Shehu Mujaddadi as New Director General of InvestJigawa

In a significant move aimed at bolstering economic development in Jigawa State, Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi has appointed Aisha Shehu Mujaddadi as the new Director General of the Jigawa State Investment Promotion Agency (InvestJigawa). The announcement was made in an official statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.

Aisha Mujaddadi, a distinguished graduate of the University of Maiduguri, holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics, which she earned in 1996. She further enhanced her academic credentials with a Master’s in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano, in 2011. With nearly two decades of experience in international development consultancy, Mujaddadi brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.

Her career has seen her engage with prominent organizations such as the World Bank, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), and the European Union. These experiences have equipped her with vital skills in project management and stakeholder engagement, making her well-suited to lead InvestJigawa in its mission to attract investment and drive economic growth in the state.

Mujaddadi has also been actively involved in various committees at both state and federal levels, and she previously served as a board member for the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service. Her focus on advocating for policy changes and fostering stakeholder relationships is expected to play a crucial role in her new position.

The Secretary to the Government emphasized that Mujaddadi’s appointment was based on merit, competence, and personal integrity, reflecting the administration’s confidence in her abilities. He expressed optimism that she would meet the expectations set before her and contribute significantly to the development of Jigawa State.

In his statement, Malam Bala Ibrahim encouraged Mujaddadi to diligently execute the current administration’s policies and programs with commitment and professionalism.
