Saudi Arabia Launches Largest International B2B Jewellery Exhibition in Jeddah

Jeddah, Saudi Arabia — The Saudi Arabia Jewellery Exposition 2025 (SAJEX 2025) made its grand debut on September 13 at the Jeddah Superdome, marking a significant milestone as the largest international B2B jewellery exhibition in the Kingdom. The event features over 200 exhibitors from India and various countries, showcasing exquisite jewellery, gemstones, and innovative designs.

India’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Suhel Ajaz Khan, emphasized the importance of the exposition in strengthening bilateral ties, stating that it reflects the Strategic Partnership Council’s role in enhancing industry connections. "This event is a testament to the growing complementarities between our economies," he remarked.

Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), highlighted the vast potential for collaboration in the gems and jewellery sector between India and Saudi Arabia. Khalid Al-Sheddi from the Saudi Ministry of Investment echoed this sentiment, noting that SAJEX aligns perfectly with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, aimed at bolstering trade and investment.

The inauguration attracted a distinguished audience, including Princess Nourah Al-Faisal, senior Saudi officials, and representatives from chambers of commerce across Jeddah, Makkah, and Riyadh. A special message from India’s Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal wishing success for the exposition was also shared during the ceremony.

In addition to the exhibition, attendees were treated to a specially curated jewellery-apparel show designed by Indian designer Ashfaq and his creative team, complemented by a vibrant live performance from the Indian cultural troupe VIHARA.

Running from September 11 to 13, 2025, SAJEX 2025 serves as an unparalleled platform for showcasing products, facilitating business networking, and forging long-term partnerships in the Middle East jewellery market. Business entities are encouraged to explore the exhibition and seize new opportunities in this thriving sector.
