Ant International’s Bettr Launches Embedded Finance Services for Ecommerce SMEs in Brazil

Bettr, an AI-driven business under Ant International, has made a significant announcement that is set to revolutionize the ecommerce landscape in Brazil. The company has launched its Embedded Finance services specifically tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the region.

This move is aimed at expanding SME lending and supporting local and regional economic development by collaborating with local partners and businesses. As part of its strategic approach, Bettr has formed a partnership with Aliexpress to introduce its new financing service, Bettr Working Capital, to local merchants. This collaboration will provide local businesses with easy access to working capital, enabling them to expand their operations in the competitive ecommerce market.

According to the official press release, Bettr Working Capital will gradually roll out its services, with the first batch of disbursements scheduled to begin on March 17, 2025. The integration of Bettr’s AI-powered lending technology into the Aliexpress platform will offer more affordable financing solutions to customers in Brazil. By leveraging alternative data-based modeling, Bettr Working Capital can conduct credit assessments quickly and accurately, providing SMEs with tailored loan options to manage cash flow, grow their businesses, and explore new market opportunities.

With loan amounts starting as low as approximately USD 175 (BRL 1,000), competitive interest rates, flexible installment options, and no collateral requirements, Bettr Working Capital is expected to reduce financing costs and alleviate the financial burden on SME borrowers in Brazil. This innovative approach to Embedded Finance is set to transform the ecommerce landscape in the region, empowering local businesses to thrive and succeed in a rapidly evolving market.
